Alabama Fire Crackers

2 sleeves, saltine crackers

1 Ranch dressing seasoning packet

1 ½ tsp, chili flake

1 tsp, cracked black pepper

½ cup, vegetable oil

Combine ranch seasoning with chili flake, black pepper, and vegetable oil in a large 1 gallon ziploc bag. Seal bag and massage bag to combine all the spices. Open the bag and pour crackers into bag, seal, and shake bag vigorously until evenly coated. Store overnight in bag for more flavor development, but if you are in a rush and need these crackers for the tailgate go ahead and bake them on a sheet pan in an even layer for 10-12 minutes at 350F. Baking is not necessary, but it helps to seal in the flavors and make the crackers a bit more crispy!
