BBQ Spiced Thighs With Alabama White BBQ Sauce


4 boneless skinless chicken thighs

2 tablespoons kosher salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

For the sauce:

1 cup Duke’s mayo

¼ cup apple cider vinegar

Juice of ½ lemon

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Procedure: Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper and cumin. Sear the chicken on both sides in a cast iron skillet or grill pan until chicken is cooked through, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, to make the BBQ sauce, whisk all ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. Taste and serve with the chicken.
