Air Fryer Drumsticks
- Heat the fully cooked drumsticks following the package instructions for air frying (or oven if preferred).
- While the drumsticks are heating, make your BBQ sauce (ingredients and instructions below).
- Brush the prepared BBQ sauce on the chicken drumsticks during the last few minutes of the heating time.
- Let sit one minute before serving.
Smoky Peach Jam BBQ Sauce
1 jar
peach jam, preserves or jelly (13-17oz)
1 cup
peach nectar or juice (substitute with apple juice)
1/4 cup
ketchup
1/4 cup
dark brown sugar
3 tablespoons
honey mustard
2 tablespoons
apple cider vinegar
3 cloves
garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon
salt
1 teaspoon
smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon
black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
cayenne pepper (optional)
- Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan.
- Whisk together and heat over medium heat until jam is melted and all ingredients are combined.
- The sauce can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
