Make dinner easy with these Freezer-Friendly Italian Chicken Meatballs made with Springer Mountain Farms ground chicken. Juicy, flavorful, and perfect for meal prep or weeknight dinners.

Meatballs

1 lb
1/4 teaspoon
dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon
dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon
sea salt
1/2 teaspoon
dried basil
1 teaspoon
minced onion
1/2 cup
panko bread crumbs
2 tablespoons
olive oil
1
egg
  1. Combine all ingredients into a bowl.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. (Nicole likes to wear gloves coated in olive oil to prevent sticking.)
  3. Shape into your desired size meatballs.

Options for Cooking & Storing for Meal Prepping

Option 1:

  1. Line a baking tray with the meatballs and cook immediately at 400°F for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  2. Allow to cool completely, then place in a freezer friendly bag so that they are ready to go when you are short on time.
  3. To reheat, bake on 400°F for 15 minutes when you are ready to use.

Option 2:

  1. Line a baking tray with meatballs and place in freezer for 1 hour.
  2. Remove from freezer and place into a freezer friendly bag and freeze until you are ready to cook.
  3. Bake on 400°F for 27-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F.
