hello, sailor announces guest chef series

Hello, Sailor, located on Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC will host six guest chef dinners through early 2020 starting this October.

Owners Chef Joe and Katy Kindred will pair up with chefs from all over to create a collaborative dinner at Hello, Sailor. The couple also owns Kindred in Davidson, which was named one of Bon Appetit’s top 50 new restaurants in America in 2018. Chef Joe has been nominated for a James Beard Award (Best Chef: Southeast) for four years in a row (2016-2019.)

First up on the list of impressive chefs is Chef Greg Collier of Uptown Yolk and the soon-to-open Leah & Louise. Chef Greg was also nominated for Best Chef: Southeast this year.

"Joe and Katy have been doing some of the best work in Charlotte and in North Carolina in the hospitality industry since Kindred opened, from dining room to kitchen," said Chef Greg Collier. "It's going to be an amazing time working with them, Chef Craig, and the Hello, Sailor crew." 

The menu for the dinner on Tuesday, October 29 hasn’t been released, but with the talents of Chef Joe, Chef Craig Diehl (Hello, Sailor), and Chef Greg, things are sure to be magical. Tickets include food and drink pairings plus tax and gratuity. Reserve your spot here.
