nashville restaurant week - week of jan 16th

Get ready Nashville and make your reservations! It's Nashville Originals Restaurant.

January 21-27 are the dates for this year’s annual winter edition of Nashville Originals Restaurant Week, when a group of more than fifty local independent eateries come together to present seven days of special prix fixe menus in hopes of attracting diners to crawl out for their igloos and enjoy a good meal.

The specially-priced menus are designed to showcase the individual vibe of each participating restaurant and encourage Nashvillians to discover a new favorite or patronize an old one that might have rolled out of regular rotation.

The specific menus are continuously being updated and posted to the Nashville Originals website, and diners are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance of the expected crowds. Several restaurants are also posting links to their reservation pages at the same link as above.

Oak Steakhouse Nashville in the Westin Hotel downtown is taking the idea even further with a whole month of special prix fixe offers. Their three-course meal deal is being presented at an incredibly reasonable $45 per person including the choice of two salads, your pick from either an 8-ounce Certified Angus Beef filet mignon, duck confit over butternut squash risotto or the catch of the day seafood dish plus a slice of chocolate or carrot cake. Diners can also upgrade the main course for an additional charge if they’d prefer a larger NY strip or ribeye, and of course you can always pay a little more to top your steak with lump crab meat or scallops “Oscar-style.” And you should.

Oak Steakhouse’s Restaurant Month menu will be served Sunday through Thursday for the rest of January, so make plans to get down there before it’s gone!
