taste of nashville at 2019 nfl draft experience

As Nashville braces itself for a massive influx of visitors for this week’s huge NFL Draft festivities, the event’s organizers wanted to make sure that our guests would have an opportunity to sample some of the local flavors of the city. Hundreds of Music City restaurants applied to be a part of the tasting village situated across the Cumberland River near Nissan Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Titans. The stadium will be surrounded by a myriad of free fan activities collectively called the 2019 NFL Draft Experience. Visitors will be able to compete in a mock combine where they can have their 40-yard dash timed, take part in a vertical jump test and participate in interactive exhibits, immersive games, virtual reality experiences, free player autograph sessions and more.

Nineteen local restaurants were selected to take part in the dining component of the Draft Experience, serving food out of tents alongside the river. They’ll be serving from 12 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26. Among the eateries that will be showing off their wares are Arnold’s Country Kitchen, GreKo Greek Street Food, Maneet Chauhan’s Morph Hospitality group of restaurants (Chauhan Ale & Masala House, Tànsuŏ, The Mockingbird), Thai Esane, Nicky’s Coal Fired, HoneyFire Barbecue, Funk Seoul Brother, The Donut + Dog, The Farm House, Black Rabbit, Puckett’s, Daddy’s Dogs and The Walnut Kitchen. For sweets, Draft Experience attendees will be able to pick from Five Daughters Bakery, NoBaked Cookie Dough and the Retro Sno Shaved Ice food truck.

Locals who are frightened to venture downtown into the crowds should definitely consider taking advantage of this opportunity to see so many of their favorite restaurants in one location. It’ll be worth the teeming masses to select from all these fantastic food options!
