Chicken Burrito Bowl

Chicken Burrito Bowl

  • 2 Tablespoon oil

  • 1 pound Springer Mountain Farms © ground chicken

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 teaspoon coriander

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • ½ teaspoon chili pepper

  • ¼ cup garlic, minced

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 each limes, juiced

  • 4 cup rice, leftover cooked


  • 1 each avocado

  • ½ cup tomato, medium dice

  • ¼ cup sour cream

  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped

  • ¼ cup scallions, thinly sliced


For the Chicken Burrito Bowl:

  1. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and ground chicken; add paprika, cumin, coriander, pepper, and chili pepper

  2. Using a wooden spatula, stir ingredients until well incorporated; ensuring to break up the ground chicken. Cook for a total of 3-5 minutes

  3. Turn down heat to medium, add rice and mix together. Stir for 3-5 minutes or until the components are hot

  4. Turn heat off, add lime juice, and mix together.


  1. Take a medium sized serving bowl and add roughly 1 ½ to 2 cups of the Chicken Burrito Bowl

  2. Next on either half of the bowl, layer avocado and tomatoes

  3. Add a tablespoon worth of sour cream at the center

  4. Sprinkle desired amount of cilantro and scallions on top

  5. Serve and enjoy!
