Fake everyone one out and create your own take out foods right at home. What you come up with is usually better than most take out food, because by the time you lug it all the way back home or have it delivered it's usually not at it's best! Plus, it's really easier than you think to create it yourself. Before you reach for your phone and the food delivery apps, check your pantry for a few staples you probably already have on hand and whip up one of these quick and delicious take-out-style recipes.

1. Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks from Chef Mark Phillips

Tandoori chicken gets it's reddish color from the combination of spices used in the yogurt marinade. Chef Mark's take on this traditional Indian dish cuts out a few steps by using a ready to use spice mix with Greek yogurt and lime juice. Cooking in a high temperature oven, helps to replicate the traditional tandoor clay oven environment for perfect roasting.

2. Cauliflower Chicken Fried Rice from Slice of Jess

Cooked in one pan, Slice of Jess' cauliflower chicken fried rice makes for a tasty main meal or side dish. Enjoy all of the flavors of take-out without having to leave your own kitchen. It's also low carb for a healthier stir-fry option.

3. Creamy Sweet Chili Chicken from Golden Grace Kitchen

Nicole's creamy sweet chili chicken is the ultimate weeknight meal. Everything comes together in one pan and is done in under 30 minutes. It is great paired with potatoes and fresh steamed veggies, but also goes really well with rice.

5. Mongolian Chicken the Springer Mountain Farms Kitchen

This quick, saucy recipe for Mongolian Chicken will have you forgetting all about take out and this dish that traditionally uses a different protein! Serve over fried rice or steamed jasmine rice. Make extra because you'll want seconds!
