The 72nd Thanksgiving Day Parade – now known as the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade – will take place on Thursday, November 28 at 9:00 a.m.

Charlotteans and visitors alike will gather to watch live performances, floats, marching bands, and more as the cast marches south on Tryon Street from 9th Street to Stonewall Street.

Last year, more than 110,000 parade-goers came out to the event, and over 1.5 million watched via broadcast. Those who cannot make it this year can once again watch the program on WBTV at 4:00 p.m. or watch it live on WBTV’s Facebook Live stream.

If you’re worried about parking, don’t be. Plenty of parking is available Uptown. Plan accordingly by checking out this map before you hop in the car.

Seating is first-come, first-serve for the general public, so if you’d like to reserve seats, consider buying VIP tickets. Otherwise, standing room is available. You can also purchase a ticket to Breakfast with Santa at Coco & the Director. Your ticket includes a breakfast sandwich, beverage, a photo with Santa, access to the M Club at the Marriott, and a bleacher seat to watch the parade. Tickets are $35 and you can purchase them here.

Finally, if you need a pre-Thanksgiving-meal snack, grab one at the parade. Breakfast sandwiches, donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and more will be for sale along the streets.

Don’t forget to tag @novantparade when you share snapshots of the fun!
