Cherry Jalapeno Glazed Chicken Bacon Brie Burger

Cherry Jalapeno Glaze
8 slices
Bacon, cooked
8 oz
Brie cheese, rind cut off and sliced for topping

Leaves of Bibb lettuce
Candied jalapenos

Unicoi Preserves Cherry Jalapeno Spread**
2 tablespoons
Ketchup
1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon
Apple cider vinegar
  1. Preheat charcoal or gas grill to medium-high heat with a dual zone set up (direct heat and indirect heat).
  2. Cook burgers for approximately 3-5 minutes on the first side.
  3. Flip to second side and brush glaze over cooked side of burger, cooking for another 3-5 minutes or until internal temperature of the burgers reach 165°F.
  4. Flip and move the burgers to the indirect heat side of the grill, brush with additional glaze and lay pieces of brie on burgers to let it melt (about 2 minutes).
  5. To assemble burger, place Bibb lettuce on bottom bun, add cheesy glazed burger, top with bacon and candied jalapenos, if desired, and finish with the top piece of the bun.
  6. Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan and heat over medium heat until all sugar is dissolved and incorporated.
  7. Can be made ahead of time and kept in refrigerator until needed.
