There’s been a hole in the Nashville brunch scene for more than two years since Margot Cafe & Bar announced they were discontinuing their weekend midday service, but hey, chef/owner Margot McCormack deserves to sleep in every now and again to spend some quality time with her family. Still, long-time Margot fans have been looking for another chance to linger over a lovely brunch at this East Nashville neighborhood favorite.

Now they’ve got at least one more chance, and it’s for a good cause. On Sunday, January 26 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Margot and her crew will be offering a family-style brunch for $30 that includes pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon and Croissant French toast, a Bloody Mary or mimosa plus non-alcoholic beverages. The meal is just $10 for children, and free for kids under 4.

The event is a fundraiser for the Abintra Montessori School, with 100% of the proceeds going to support their educational efforts. The funds will be added to the school’s annual fund which closes the final 2% gap in the school’s annual budget not covered by tuition. As a bonus, school staff will eat free that afternoon! If you’ve been missing Chef McCormack’s take on the morning meal, here’s your opportunity. You never know when it will happen again, so don’t miss out!
