1 cup
Prepared marinara sauce
1 1/2 cups
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup
Fresh grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons
Unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Dried Italian seasonings
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon
Fresh parsley, cleaned and chopped
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Make a garlic herb butter by combining melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasonings, salt and chopped parsley in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Slice rolls in half lengthwise and place bottoms cut side up in a greased baking dish, and brush lightly with garlic herb butter.
  4. Place in oven to toast bottoms of rolls slightly to prevent sogginess after assembly, approximately 5-8 minutes.
  5. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the bottoms of the rolls, top with portioned chicken pieces so that each roll has equal amounts of chicken, cover with shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, and then cover with tops of rolls, cut side down.

  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until rolls are toasted and cheese is melted.**
  8. Brush with remaining garlic herb butter after removing from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
  9. Serve with extra heated marinara sauce for dipping.
