Greek Chicken Burger

Springer Mountain Farms-Ready to Cook-Frozen Chicken Breast Patties*
Greek salad dressing
2 pieces
Pita bread

Green pepper, seeded & thinly sliced in rings
1
Red onion, peeled and thinly sliced in rings
Cucumber, thinly sliced
Kalamata olives, pitted & halved
Feta cheese, crumbled
Tzatziki sauce (commercially prepared or homemade)
Lettuce leaves
- Heat indoor electric grill to 350°F and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Cook chicken breast patties following grill method on packaging until patties reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Brush with Greek salad dressing and cook for an additional minute; set aside and keep warm until ready to assemble burgers.
- In a non-stick pan, warm pita bread in pan over medium-high heat to make it more pliable. [If Pita is large enough to wrap around the burger, use one per burger. If not, use 2 to make your "bun" or cut a pocket in the pita round and stuff burger and toppings in pocket.]
- To assemble burger, spread tzatziki sauce on pita, top with lettuce and burger patty, and then layer on pepper, onion and cucumber slices, and halved olives.
- Crumble feta cheese over veggies and serve with additional tzatziki sauce if desired.
