BBQ Spiced Thighs with Alabama White BBQ Sauce

Springer Mountain Farms Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs*
2 tablespoons
Kosher salt
2 teaspoons
Black pepper
1 teaspoon
Ground cumin
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 cup
Mayonnaise
1/4 cup
Apple cider vinegar
1/2
Lemon, juiced
2 tablespoons
Sugar
2 teaspoons
Salt
1 teaspoon
Pepper
  1. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper and cumin.
  2. Sear the chicken on both sides in a cast iron skillet, grill pan or medium-high grill until chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of at least 175°F, about 20 minutes.
  3. For BBQ sauce, whisk all ingredients together in a small mixing bowl.
  4.  Toss hot chicken in BBQ sauce as soon as it comes off heat and allow it to rest in sauce for about 10 minutes before serving.
